First day

After the first good night's sleep, I actually wanted to explore the city a bit. Unfortunately, it was raining cats and dogs (see pool picture), so the plan fell through. Literally. So I spent a relaxing day at home, I still have plenty of time to see everything. Since there are also two snack bars in the complex, I didn't even have to leave for dinner. I just realized that some of the take-out food was a bit strange. There was a box of pumpkin-something, a box of dry noodles, and a bag full of sauce. A bit like instant noodles ^^ but it was really tasty once it was all mixed together, only the fishy something on the pumpkin was a bit unsettling... but I guess I'll have to get used to fish.

In the evening, I went out for drinks with the other assistants. Since the three from upstairs had already found a bar the day before, we went there. At first, it was still quite empty, but it filled up nicely over time. And not without reason. There was a live band playing, they were so incredibly good! No matter what song they played, it just sounded amazing. I think we'll visit that bar more often ^^ They also had beer and cocktails, they would have been good prices for German standards, but for Malaysian standards, it's quite expensive, since a large part of the population doesn't earn as much here. But it's alcohol, I expected that. Still, we assistants can afford it from time to time. The others are also really nice, I also went up to the 15th floor to end the evening on the balcony. I went back to bed around 2, it was a really cool evening, of which I hope to have many more here!
