There he was... November 2nd... Suddenly and unexpectedly 😜
You wait for half a year and boom, it's time.. It said.. Off on vacation..
Start was 9.30am in Dresden and we went by car to Berlin. This time I didn't want to start the adventure trip with a crowded Flixbus and an annoyed bus driver right away 😅 In Berlin, I'm leaving my car for 3 weeks, hoping it will still be there. At the airport, the first moment came where a quiet voice said... I hate people.. I had to wait for a whole hour at the check-in with, what felt like, 1000 Russians. Who, as everyone knows, are overflowing with friendliness. At least the flight to Moscow was on time. There I was supposed to meet Tommy...
No idea what the pilot had this time. Whether he urgently needed to go to the toilet #homepooper or celebrated the previous evening, like me, for too long... It definitely didn't feel sober. But well, the Russians know what they're doing. We arrived in Moscow half an hour earlier than planned, which was very convenient for me. Because I only had one hour to change planes. Now it was almost one and a half hours. Exiting the plane, we took a bus to the terminal and then there was passport control and another security check. Slowly but surely, I thought I might actually need the extra underwear, because for the entire plane, there was only one row. Here I have to briefly quote my colleague 'Old Chinese saying: Too much will break the sack' and there were also a bunch of Chinese people and I thought to myself... 'Too many Chinese people are getting on my nerves' 😜
At least it took another hour until I was done with everything, but then it finally happened... Tommy was already waiting at the gate to Ho Chi Minh and we could finally start the adventure together.
Oh, what I forgot.. THESE RUSSIANS.... 😖🤬🤬🤬 They actually took away my EXPENSIVELY BOUGHT beer that I had snatched at the duty-free. Just because there were no bags over it 🙄🙄 If I hadn't been under time pressure, I would have chugged it and puked in front of their feet... Whatever, idiots... Because they walk past life, that's why they're not in the EU, this bunch of idiots...
After a 9.5-hour flight, we finally landed in Saigon 😅 straight through immigration and now it's time to wait for the luggage and then somehow make our way to the hostel 😉
