The Gardens by the Bay, opened in 2012, is a 100-hectare area that has been artificially reclaimed. Located directly behind the Marina Bay Sands hotel, it houses the so-called Supertrees, a Cloud Forest, and the Flower Dome.
Gardens by the Bay is part of the Singapore city-state government's strategy to transform the city into a garden, in order to improve the quality of life for its residents.
The Flower Dome is the world's largest greenhouse. Inside, there are thousands of different plants in an artificially created climate. 🌸🌺🥀🌹
