It's so green...when Taiwan's coasts bloom

ຈັດພີມມາ: 16.05.2017

To complete the natural events, we went to the coastline north of Taipei. No swimming beaches and rather a rugged coastline., but there was a small green reef, volcanic stones covered with algae. It looked great, but was also quickly explored. A little further east, the ocean created peculiar rock formations. In the so-called geopark, there was a stone that looked like the bust of a woman, a "meadow" of mushroom-shaped stones, and all sorts of washed-up fossils. What the sea can do...

But the much-talked-about highlight of many trips to Taiwan is Taroko National Park.... Well, let's just say the gorge was impressive...imposing rock formations, crystal clear water...but we wouldn't call it a highlight. Admirable, however, is that the Taiwanese have actually built a road system there! Tunnels, bridges, roads on steep cliffs, all in a rather inhospitable area.

Finally, it can be said...Taiwan doesn't have the grand natural wonders or highlights, but the atmosphere here is great, the progress is very impressive, and the people are pleasant and friendly! We highly recommend it! We enjoyed it very much and would come back here anytime!
