Peru - Day 8 - Sightseeing in Arequipa

As we had driven through the night, we arrived at our hostel in Arequipa around 5:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the room was not ready, so we lay down in the TV room until breakfast. We then set off to explore Arequipa around 9 a.m.

The sightseeing program included the Basilica Cathedral, the St. Augustine Church and Monastery, Casa de Moral, the San Francisco Church, the Santa Martha Church, the Palace of Justice, the Santo Domingo Church, and the Santa Catalina Monastery, which we did not enter due to the high entrance fee.

Afterwards, we each bought a real baby alpaca wool sweater, of course.

When we returned to the hostel, we organized everything for our Machu Picchu trip and went to bed early as we had to leave at 3 a.m. the next day.
