On Tuesday morning, after a cozy breakfast, the car was already packed, we continued with our journey 🛤. Today's destination, Lake Titisee, was a little over half an hour drive southwest. The lake itself, a beautiful spot on earth, is unfortunately commercially very used. Thanks to Corona, there were hardly any Asian fellow citizens to be seen. As a result, it was quite manageable. Our old bread was snatched away by the numerous ducks on the shore. 🦆🦆After a short break, we continued to the Schluchsee. This reservoir is the largest lake in the Black Forest with its 7.3 km in length and 1.4 km in width. It exceeds the depth of Lake Titisee by a whole 21 meters with a depth of approximately 61 meters. And all at an altitude of about 900 meters above sea level, making it the highest dam lake in Germany. So, enough of the smartassery. 😃😃Great area and friendly people everywhere again. However, we found our last parking space for this year in Menzenschwand. At the Rehbach ski lift. HüNN just below 900 meters. The place, again very level and round. The parking spaces were divided by thick logs and always well attended. A constant coming and going. The costs were again within ten euros. Oh, Menzenschwand is a suburb of Saint Blasien, a spa town, also known for its great cathedral with its huge dome. Since we arrived here late and were shopping at Edeka Schmidt, nothing else happened on this day 🙂. Today, on the last full day, we went out with the bikes again. First uphill to the Menzenschwander waterfalls. I hope you like the pictures. 🙂 The subsequent ten kilometers to Saint Blasien were very bumpy on the designated bike path, so we took the road back. The city itself is again very beautiful. At first glance, the oversized cathedral does not really fit the picture. All in all, however, a successful outing. The lunch at the Italian restaurant was very delicious. Heike had her first espresso in the café next door a little later. 🙄🙄 It was very 😋 tasty, she said, she is still doing well. 🤭We spent the last hours of the day completely relaxed in front of our motorhome. Tomorrow or on Friday I will write one last report. It's great that you all have been reading so diligently 👋👋
