From Tiznit we drove to the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The landscape is mostly very barren, but there are always oases where magnificent palm trees grow. With the large dry riverbeds we see, there must be a lot of rain in the winter. We almost drove past it, but there are actually a few small waterfalls in Tissint. We almost couldn't believe we saw flowing water here.
Everything is very dry here, around 35°C during the day. The humidity is so low that, for example, the thin skin of the peeled tangerine is immediately dry and it cracks in your mouth as if you were eating chips.
A Belgian artist brought some pots of paint into the mountains and simply painted a few large stones colorfully.
