In the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, you will find the neighboring towns of Puerto Viejo and Cahuita. Endless dream beaches that stretch all the way to the border with Panama attract tourists and locals alike. Puerto Viejo is a surfer's and party town, with bars, restaurants, and hotels as far as the eye can see. Cahuita is a bit more tranquil. Here, I rent a small bungalow surrounded by a beautiful, exotic garden. Throughout the night, I can hear funny insects and birds. Next week, I will drive back to San José and bid farewell to Costa Rica.
