Today we expect the longest train journey in India. Since the train is 5 hours late, we will arrive very late at night. It was very exhausting because of an impossible family that decided to make themselves comfortable on my seat and make everything dirty. We were very relieved when we finally arrived at our destination.
After a short night, we explored the area a bit. We were able to observe a kind of parade with painted elephants, loud music, and many singing and dancing Indians. Unfortunately, it was very hot and our motivation to move was not very high.
In the afternoon, we headed towards Wagah, the border of Pakistan. Every evening, there is a show by the military from India as well as from Pakistan. On the way, we made a stop at a temple that was quite crazy. We crawled through tunnels, climbed stairs, and even waded through water to cross the temple. In the end, a blessing was given and you could get food (Dhal).
We continued to the border. We found a place and waited for the start of the show. Visitors from both countries danced, the national anthems were sung, and the soldiers in their uniforms presented their performance.
The next day, the heat made us sluggish.
We organized a bus that will take us to cooler Dharamshala after another night.
