Cathedral Cove - First Sunshine

Since the weather was supposed to deteriorate again and we wanted to experience Hobbiton in sunshine, we skipped Hot Beach and went straight down; late in the evening.

Lucky for us. 1 day later, this whole part of the island was flooded, without power and cut off from the rest of the island.

Learning of the day: Rain is as much a part of New Zealand as fries are to schnitzel. 😉
