Today at 11:00 AM the time had finally come.. Kenny and Krissi took the big step into the distance. Accompanied by our families, we first went to the airport Berlin Schönefeld in a Sharan for 6 people. After a good 1.5 hours drive, we arrived. For refreshment, we had delicious Bockwurst and Wiener sausages.

A highlight for the farewell. Dear Kathi came all the way from Potsdam to say goodbye to us. :*

Then we went straight to the baggage drop-off, the check-in was already done online. After successful drop-off, the sad farewell came. Numerous hugs, but only a few tears later, we went through the security check. Finally done, we thought. Krissi went directly to the special check, but everything went smoothly and well, of course.

Let's go :)

There was no more waiting time before boarding, so we went straight to the plane and started on time. Unfortunately, a layer of clouds prevented a beautiful farewell from Berlin. It was only during the approach to London that we saw water and land again. This first and very short flight (2 hours) was very calm and only had a few light bumps. Krissi has also managed everything well despite being ill.

When we arrived in London, we searched forever until we realized that we had to transfer to another airport wing. Up to that moment, it seemed that no Norwegian Air plane was going to take off from London. After a short inquiry, everything went very quickly, we were able to check in and drop off our luggage about 5 hours before the next departure.

Now it's time to wait, write, and have some delicious burgers.
