The East Coast and Mount Cook

We are finally in Dunedin! We spent three nights there and around. We went surfing and visited Lucy, Duncan's neighbor. Surfing was so much fun as always and it keeps getting better. While surfing, a baby seal just swam up to me and dived under my board. It was totally cute, but also very creepy as for some reason it had its mouth open the whole time. 🥲After Dunedin, we continued to Oamaru and Timaru, where we saw penguins for the first time. Actually, the smallest penguin in New Zealand. We made a short stop at Lake Tapo. Unfortunately, the blooming season is already over, and we didn't see the beautiful purple flowers.

Yesterday at dinner, a girl approached us because she was looking for someone to take her shopping since she had already been drinking. Svea and I went with her and we got along really well. She then invited Madlen and me to party with her and her friends. We had a very beautiful night sky and with the help of Svea's friend, I finally managed to capture it with my camera. At the end of the evening, we all went Skinny Dipping.🥳

The next day we continued to Mount Cook, which is one of my highlights in New Zealand so far. Even though it was colder than Milford Sound, it was simply incredibly breathtaking.
