Warm, some rain, still have a runny nose.
In front of me are the barren mountains of Albania and then - after a few climbs - the border between Greece and Albania.
Now I am in the land of the Albanians for the 3rd time.
Since I enter at the southernmost border crossing and then always ride parallel to the coast, I encounter many tourists here, just like in Greece. The country is adapting more and more to them and there is hardly any difference to the Greek coast here. In the small harbor towns - and villages - there are bars, restaurants, and beach chairs. I don't really like it.
Last year, I was mainly in the interior of the country. On this trip, I will probably see a different side. Because I am mainly going along the coast towards the north.
The views of the sea and the barren mountains are just as beautiful as in Greece.
On the whole trip, I have only met 2 cyclists!
Here, I see several now and we wave to each other.
To start feeling better soon, I am looking for a bed.
