Christmas is just around the corner - but I don't feel anything, Doctor.
I don't find that problematic, personally I find all the Christmas frenzy to be exaggerated and rather annoying. But I don't want to take away anyone's joy if they enjoy it. There is a Christmas tree in (almost) every house here as well. When I'm out in the evening, they blink at me in LED white, blue, red, yellow, and green from the open front doors. But in the streets, shops, and restaurants, you don't feel much of it. There is hardly any Christmas music either. And gifts? I sensibly (but gladly) transferred money with the spirit of Christmas to my own children. On the suggestion of their clever mother or aunt, I bought clothing for the children of my Nica family - done. And now I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve. It is celebrated with the family but also on the streets. With fireworks from midnight until - I'm afraid - quite late.
And so I can go jogging tomorrow completely relaxed and go to the idyllic hotel pool, where I will lie in the shade under a palm leaf parasol. Maybe I'll check the weather forecast for Germany on wetteronline.de.
Today up to 30 degrees, lively wind from the east, 9 hours of sunshine, maximum probability of rain 15% (wet, but warm 😁).
