Sightseeing

Since we were completely covered in clouds in the morning, we changed our plan for today at short notice. Our landlord organized a taxi for us in Pokhara, which took us to various sights. We took the local bus down again and at the bus station the Nepalese taxi driver was already waiting for us. First, we went to the Mountain Museum, where we learned a lot about the history of Nepal and of course about mountaineering. Then we went to Devi's Fall (waterfall) and a cave with an underground sanctuary. As a crowning finale, we went up to the World Peace Stupa, which stands as a monument for peace among all religions and people worldwide. A very impressive place. Unfortunately, the gigantic mountains only showed themselves very reluctantly through gaps in the clouds above Lake Phewa. In the evening, we took a stroll through Pokhara and then took a taxi back to the mountains.

I tried to increase the resolution of the pictures again, but nothing happens. However, I am amazed that anything is being transmitted at all with this tangle of wires....so please understand the quality issues.
