Bean//Lincoln Park Zoo

15km or about 9.5 miles. From the hostel to the Bean and then on to the Lincoln Park Zoo and back. The zoo was quite large and most importantly, free for us poor students. The path from the Bean to the zoo and along Lake Michigan was beautiful and not as humid as yesterday. At the hostel, we even got a free hot dog Chicago-style without ketchup, odd. I guess we saved today, except for the bus, which as usual cost $2.50 for 2 stops. Oh yeah, we did some expensive shopping for the intolerant travel buddy who strangely has a problem with milk: about $4 for almond milk.
