Mountain view, Day 2

Woke up with the AIDA departure song 'Sail away'.......Is the ship already leaving? A look out the window....no sea in sight, but mountains! The longer we had breakfast, the better the weather gets! At minus 6 degrees and sunshine, we went on the Tannheimer Höhenweg to Tannheim! Luckily, we had to.......in the 'Genuss Land' there was hot Aperol, seats in the sun, great view and....a toilet!

In total, an almost 10 km long beautiful hike and only in the last kilometer, a freezing cold wind came from the 'Enge'! In the hotel, there was a beer, wurst salad, and cake! Although the hotel apparently is fully booked, the spa area was manageable! Built new in 2020 with a steam bath, salt relaxation room, infrared beds, 2 saunas, mountain lake pool, and indoor-outdoor pool - beautifully built! In the evening, there was a salad and appetizer buffet, soup, and sea bass fillet, then a dessert buffet! Luckily, we brought a ginger-lime schnapps from Pircher!
