Roadtrip: New York - Ithaca - Niagara Falls - Toronto

After my 6-hour cheap flight without anything to drink (😂), I arrived in New York at 8:00 am on time. The day before, I booked a shared transfer for €17 to the hotel through Expedia, which I had to wait for 45 minutes and then spent 1 1/2 hours driving around the airport to pick up people. At least the transfer was "cheap" 😂. I was incredibly excited to see my parents again 😊. After a short shower, we walked to 9/11, Times Square, and had a glass of wine at little Eataly 😊. In the afternoon, my sister arrived in New York.

On Monday, we drove for four hours with a rental car to Ithaca.

Ithaca is a very small and not particularly exciting town. However, it was very interesting to see the rural side of the USA. It was exactly as I had imagined it.

The Niagara Falls were particularly impressive, which we visited on Tuesday afternoon. We went on the "Maid of the Mist" and got right up close to the waterfalls. We got soaked, but it was breathtaking 😊.

Then we crossed the border into Canada. In the late afternoon, we had a view of the Niagara Falls from the Canadian side and from above.

From Wednesday to Friday (this morning), we were in Toronto. I really liked Toronto.

On Wednesday, we visited Casa Loma, the villa of Sir Henry Pellatt. It was very interesting and we had a great view from the tower room of Casa Loma.

In Toronto, we also visited Little Italy, Chinatown, the Flatiron Building, St. Lawrence Market, and much more.

We are currently on our way to Kingston. We will only be back in the USA on Sunday. I am looking forward to the last week with my family 😊.
