Today we embarked on our motorcycle trip to the Rocky Mountains. We started towards Banff National Park on Eric's Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. Ahead of us lay about 370 exciting kilometers.
The first destination was the Elbow Falls, a popular, small waterfall. From there, we continued to Bragg Creek, a small picturesque Western town.
We spent our lunch break in a Native American reservation at the local casino; the prairie bison burger was amazing. Western horses roamed freely there as well.
Next, we headed to Kananaskis, the former Olympic village of the 1988 Winter Games. Today, it is famous as a spa village with expensive hotels.
On the way back, we took various mountain passes up to 2300 meters where it had already begun to snow.
The famous Rocky Mountain sheep were often seen along the roadside.
In the evening sun, we returned to our accommodation and relaxed on the terrace with a cold beer.
