Sunshine Coast 21.04. - 29.04.2017

The Sunshine Coast stretches north of Brisbane to Noosa. Beautiful long sandy beaches and great campsites awaited us here. Our first destination was Caloundra. Highlights were the pool and the tennis court. For a small fee, we could borrow rackets and balls and have fun 🎾 🏆 We took the days very calmly and comfortably (there wasn't much to do in Caloundra 😅).

In Maroochydore, we stayed at a campsite right on the beach. There wasn't much for us to do here either, so we lived in the moment and enjoyed the here and now. Walking along the Esplanade was especially beautiful in the evening at sunset. Surfers with their boards and connoisseurs with wine and beer on the lawns and on the beach. ☺️

Here we had our first encounter with a huge hairy 🕷....

We had one of our best stops so far in Noosa! We love this city. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to come back in August and visit the beautiful city with the Lang family. The beaches, the adjoining national park, the many beautiful birds, and the best ice cream are waiting for us here! One evening, we met two girls from Munich who had to return to Germany soon. We got along great and sat together for hours, drinking delicious mango beer and eating TimTams 😋😋😋

The 6 km hike along the coast through the national park was challenging but also beautiful. Everything was perfect and the impressions we could take with us will never be forgotten 😍. In Noosa, we had the next creepy encounter 😱 You can see it in the photo, it looks a bit like a Golden Orb Spider, one of the deadly spiders here in Oz 😨.

It was just a short hop from Noosa to Eumundi. The town is well known for its Saturday market. Only homemade goods are sold there, so we couldn't miss it and strolled through the stands for a while. We tried caramelized salted nuts, chutneys, jam, ginger beer, dried meat.... we bought a pack of muesli 😬.

If you're wondering what our evenings look like... We always like to watch the series Prison Break in the evening, when we can download an episode if the Wi-Fi works. We started with the first season and are now on season 4! So, if you're bored and need a new series, this one is really great 🙌 And you know we have good taste in movies 😄

We also enjoy playing the Game of Life (English version) with credit cards and an electronic reader.

Of course, it's great to enjoy the sunset from a great viewpoint ☺️.

Although only 5 weeks have passed so far, we wanted to let you know that everything is still harmonious between us and we don't argue 😄. Of course, there are a few little quarrels now and then, but it would be boring without them 😂. In conclusion, we still love each other ♥️ and we miss you already!
