Move 06.03.17

As already mentioned, we have decided to move on and have rented an apartment through Airbnb from Monday to Friday. It is located in the middle of the city in the 'Ermald Building' on the 9th floor. The apartment belongs to a nice Indian named Gayan, who also lives in the apartment. We have our own room and bathroom for the two of us. We share the kitchen and living room with Gayan.

In addition, the quite small apartment has a pretty big balcony, from which you have a good view of the city.

The absolute highlight of the building is the rooftop. From there, you can have a complete view of Melbourne. On one side, there is the city with the skyline, on the other side, there is the sea and the Melbourne Formula 1 track. The rooftop also offers a small but very comfortable pool.

On Friday, we will likely be staying in the apartment of a friend of Annika's, who is currently living in Australia and will be at a festival over the weekend.

Furthermore, we want to report that we have rented a camping van! We will start from Melbourne on 28.03. and go all the way up to Cairns. We have 40 days to travel the entire east coast until we have to return the van in Cairns on 10.05. Now we just have to survive 20 more days of work and hope that the money is enough.

In any case, we are already quite excited and hope the days until then pass by quickly.
