... on to Ayers Rock.....

Get up early - leave beautiful backpackers (I have to write about it separately) and enjoy the view of Bondi Beach again for goodbye. How many people are already on the road at half past six ...... unbelievable !!! But somehow clear too - at sunrise by the sea - beautiful !! There are surfers 🏄🏻 in masses, runners 🏃🏼‍♀️ in groups and cyclists 🚴🏻... I'm really sad !

Flight with Qantas - shortly after takeoff you can't see anything! No houses, no cars ... nothing! At some point the ground turns red... Landing in Alice Springs! Mika asks where the airport is.... he can't assign this small building.

Alice Springs has 15,000 inhabitants! It's not that attractive now! On the way to the accommodation I imagine having to live here. Just the thought of it feels oppressive.

We explore the city - shops, pubs, and many aborigines, who are almost all hang out, drunk and smell unpleasant, most of them are completely neglected - that makes me really sad!

In Alice Springs the time difference to Sydney is half an hour, i.e. 7.5 hours to Germany! Strange somehow too!

Tomorrow we have to get up at 5 am - then we're off to Ayers Rock. Not many photos today! But tomorrow there will be plenty .... Ayers Rock from every side - in daylight, in the dark, etc 😊 .... are you looking forward to it?

Of course, I also receive photos of you here and again I realize that you don't have to go to Australia to have a good time! There are so many beautiful places.... what's important is who you're traveling with !! Then I find it almost beautiful everywhere!
