Day 42 Philosopher's Monastery Topless Monastery?

ຈັດພີມມາ: 24.07.2019

This morning while brushing my teeth, I looked in the mirror: a Mercedes with 2 grinning nuns wearing big sunglasses was just driving up. Calimera, a sight for the gods. Burki has been topless for 10 days because a top is still an absolute torture for him. I do all the shopping alone, otherwise we are only in camping mode, so it's not noticeable. Today it was clear that we wouldn't go through the monastery, the hiking trail would have gone through here. But luckily we found a way around the back. We have already seen the monastery from the inside. We did our gorge hike as planned. We passed by another monastery in between. It is perched like an eagle's nest in the cliffs. But just the sight from a distance is always impressive. It's nice to walk along the wooded cliffs and hear the Louisos River below. On the way back, we discovered the sign: Old Philosopher's Monastery. Since we rarely miss anything, Burki was the first to go up and behold, he had no problems getting in. It was actually just an old ruin, but we like that kind of thing. We don't have a parking space yet today.
