Good morning!
Yesterday we went for another hike. We headed north to Rural de Anaga Park. We had a challenging tour ahead with lots of elevation gain. First, we descended 650 meters and then climbed up all in one go. This made the hike very strenuous, and the weather didn't really help either. It was about 28°C, but luckily a part of the return path was through the forest. In the end, we were able to enjoy a beautiful hike with great views.
Today, we visited Teide National Park. We drove for about an hour up a winding road to an altitude of 2,300 meters. Once we arrived at the national park, we were amazed by the crater landscape with solidified magma and lava flows. Due to the weather, the visibility into the distance was very clear, and we could see the summit of Teide. Unfortunately, we couldn't climb to the summit because the number of people allowed to go up daily is limited. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the view of the landscape surrounding Teide, and we found it fascinating. The national park is definitely a must-see for every visitor to Tenerife!
See you soon!
