Image 1: Zinc - a very special dog. As Corinna's house dog, he lives with us in the guest house and is treated here like a real roommate :) Zinc has hip problems and no longer runs in the team, but he loves to play with the puppies. He frosted the tips of his ears - probably the only husky ever to do so ;) Zinc is an extremely quiet and sweet dog who usually keeps a low profile. We have definitely grown fond of our fluffy roommate!
Image 2: Knott - the Norwegian word for little black fly. Why this name? I have absolutely no idea! I actually think Rev, which means fox, would have been a better fit! A cuddly and affectionate lady who quickly charms everyone with her charming nature :)
Image 3: Krisch - the fluffy giant. Relaxed guy who prefers to chill with cabin neighbor Novaja. The two of them run at the back of my team and adore each other. They even exchange nose boops and loving glances during training <3
Image 4: Smudge. Although we initially agreed that there's a clapping monkey in Smudge's head and we're not entirely sure if he even knows his name, we reluctantly tried him as a lead dog next to the experienced Stine - where he did surprisingly well! For the past few weeks, he has been leading my team alongside her, and I would now claim - we make a good team :)
Image 5: Ingstad. Ingstad is a purebred Greenland dog, and my goodness - what a machine! Hardly anyone here has more strength, once this giant starts moving, there's no stopping him. We've had to repair his harness, replace pull lines and loops several times... he truly lives up to his breed ;)
Image 6: Jule! Okay, because of the name similarity with my sister, she had sympathy points from the start... but just look at that cute little snout! When I arrived, she was still a fairly thin and delicate pup, but thanks to her winter coat, she has become much more compact - and ever since, she's just 'my little seal' :)
