Las Vegas (Wedding Day)

The car is gone.

Fully convinced that we parked on parking level 2, we realize that our car is missing🫣

Thank goodness we check level 3 again, where we finally find it. What a scare in the morning.🫣

Today, we need to take care of formalities for our wedding. We drive to the Marriage License Office for the license.

There, we have to raise our hands and swear not to do any foolishness, and we receive the license for $105.

Then we check into the Strat Hotel for 3 nights.

The room we get is quite different from the booking pictures, with a small window and overall unappealing. After complaining, we receive an offer for a room that fits after a few options presented. A very kind staff member secures us a room with a better view, and we also receive a $50 voucher for the trouble.

The next morning, the time has come; we dress in our wedding outfits and drive to the Drive-Through window where we are to be married.

The formalities are handled quickly; we receive a few flowers, and then we are married by a lady with quite plumped lips on the backseat of our car.

The lady expects a tip starting at $60, and the photographer holds out his hand as well. All in all, it was a lovely ceremony.

Afterward, we drive on the Strip towards the Las Vegas sign to toast with champagne.

There, you also have to stand in line for a photo.

In the afternoon, we go to the Strat Tower, where you have a breathtaking view of Las Vegas.

In the evening, we booked tickets at Westgate. We initially wanted to see Lionel Richie, but unfortunately, the concert was canceled, and since we couldn’t get our money back, we booked tickets for Barry Manilow.

After a meal at the Italian restaurant in the Westgate Hotel, we are excited for the show. We are really positively surprised. The show is truly fantastic.

All in all, a wonderful day that we will remember for a long time. In the evening, we visit the Strat Tower again…Las Vegas by Night.
