We gradually settled into camper life by driving all our belongings around in the car, being on the road every day, sleeping somewhere else every night, and relying on showers and water at the campsites. Some campsites, especially those in tourist areas, unfortunately cost between 20 AUD and 100 AUD. Sometimes even a warm shower costs extra cents. In general, water saving is emphasized, for example by only showering for about 3 minutes. The water partly comes from the nearby river or is simply filtered rainwater. We will remember the campsites that were very clean and tidy and head inland to the Grampians National Park.
On the way there, we get an impression of the vastness of Australia: kilometers-long roads, thousands of hectares of pastures, and huge herds of sheep and cows.Australia, you are so beautiful.
