Next beautiful beach... ;) We first drive to Lagos relatively planlessly and to a large and long tourist beach, but dogs are not welcome there. Back towards the old town, we walk through many small streets for a while and are a little amazed at how beautiful this city is. Eventually, we even find a German bakery and treat ourselves to rye bread and pretzels. Maria also finds a new stapler in a store, which ends up ripping her off a bit. When we receive the monthly bill, we realize that she is paying more than what is written on the receipt and there is probably a reason why card payment is declined. Unfortunately, we also miss taking photos of the old town. There is supposed to be a small Roman bridge between the rocks. When we arrive at the cliffs, we unfortunately cannot find it. Nor can we find the caves and beaches that we have read about. Once back at the promenade, we search for a small spot on the smaller city beach where Rocky can let off some steam. And behold - a passage in the rocks to the next section of beach! And from there, another passage, and we accidentally find the Roman bridge. Lagos impresses us a little and is definitely in the shortlist for Christmas and calls for a reunion.
