Good evening,
We are incredibly glad to be in a big city for a longer period of time - not because we think it's great with all the people, but because this time we have enough time to look at everything in peace... and not sprint from one thing to the next 😊
That's why we didn't leave the house until 12:30 today.
Since it's winter here (26 degrees 🤦🏽♀️) and it drizzled last night and this morning, the humidity today was soooooooo excessively high and the 26 degrees felt like 35 degrees.
We just quickly picked up our laundry, and there we were again at Allan & Gerben's. As luck would have it, of course.
After that, we walked to the other end of Victoria Harbour. Omg, it was soooo infinitely far. But yes, very fascinating to see how many cranes are standing here for all the container ships, etc.
It was definitely worth it.
After that, we walked back and, based on a recommendation, went to a patisserie around the corner to have lunch (it was 4 pm, oops. Time is ruuuuuunning).
Ohhhhhh - it was simply the absolute bomb. Because it was so good and we didn't have enough for lunch today, we went back in the evening and treated ourselves to real bagels - a dream 🥰🆒
Today at lunchtime, we had a salad and lasagna for the first time🔝
After that, we wanted to go to Victoria Peak.
Wanted to.
We got there - and there were so many people. There were so many people just waiting in line!!!!!!!
Ummm - neither of us felt like being with so many Chinese and people in one place - we turned right back around and left.
Instead, we went back to Hong Kong Island and checked out a few things. Hold on tight - we saw a pirate ship 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Well, maybe it wasn't that great after all - but we celebrated it 🤓
Now we're back, enjoyed the bagels again, and now we're relaxing with European 🍷 wine.
That's the life.
Enjooooooy life and stuff.
For tomorrow, we have planned to go to Victoria Peak again - but we're prepared and have ordered online tickets 🎫 Also, the weather is better tomorrow and hopefully we'll have a better view than the four million people today 🙋🏼♀️
