Málaga will be my last stop in Spain and also my last one for now in Europe. But before moving on, I have 2 more nights in Málaga. When I arrived, it was already more or less dark, but I could see a beautiful sunset from the bus. After checking into the hostel, I took a little walk along the beach to stretch my legs after a 10-hour bus ride. Then I actually went to bed early because I wanted to be fit for my day in the city tomorrow. Right in the morning, after breakfast, I set off to the beach. I enjoyed a bit of the first rays of the day there. Later, I walked along the beach into the city and first took a tour through the city. This was just to quickly see the most famous sights and to get to know the city from a local's perspective. As soon as we started the tour, I had already fallen in love with this city. I am fascinated by the liveliness here, yet it is not overcrowded with unpleasant tourists. It is not particularly big but has so much charm. We walked through several lovely alleys and also saw a church or two, including the city's cathedral. After the tour, I wandered around the city for a few more hours and was increasingly captivated by it. In the afternoon, I then went up to the castle to enjoy the breathtaking view. It somehow kept getting better and better here! Since the beach weather was really great, I wanted to take advantage of it and made my way there. In the harbor, there were several huge luxury yachts, and it was hard to know where to look first out of fascination. When I got back to the hostel, I just grabbed my beach stuff and spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach. While cooking in the hostel, I also got to know a few really lovely people, and from that moment on, the four of us somehow became inseparable for the rest of the time together. After chatting on the couch at the hostel for 3 hours, we decided that we wanted to enjoy the evening together properly. We all changed clothes and headed into the city to a rooftop bar. We spent our time there until it closed. Then we strolled a little further through the city before moving our conversations back to the hostel couch. We stayed there until dawn. However, we also wanted to spend the last day meaningfully together and made our way to the castle. We checked out the exhibition there but especially the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, it was already time for me to move on. Off to the airport and on to a completely new adventure! 🫶🏼
