Kavala - the small port city

After a 2.5-hour ferry ride + 1.5-hour drive, we finally arrive in Kavala in the evening. The beautiful port town invites you to feel good right away.

First, we climb a few steps up to the Castle, the well-preserved castle of Kavala, which offers a great view of the city. The castle is well preserved and there is also a small amphitheater on the grounds.

After a short sightseeing tour, we continue to the two-story Roman aqueduct, the landmark of the city.

You can stroll along the harbor, which is also within walking distance. Here we enjoy the stunning view of the illuminated castle while having ouzo and wine.
