We also stayed alone at the campsite this night, thanks to the NP app, no one has to check on us, we book online and pay immediately by card.
We are going to the next larger town called Cooma, with tourist information and internet. Unfortunately, Anglers Reach did not respond and the internet is weak, so I ask the friendly ladies at the info center to call for us to see if there is a spot available. They are happy to do so, I also get information about Mt. Kocziuszko. When we arrive at Lake Angler, it starts to rain, no washing clothes, we have to sit and wait in the car for now. It's good that we're not camping with a tent.
Eventually, the rain stops, the laundry is tumbling in the dryer and we go for a walk, watching the boxing kangaroos and the rabbits fleeing in front of us. It has become cold, even the fire doesn't warm us. We have to go back into the sun.
