I walked into the albergue and was so happy that the door opened. For my further planning, I really have to call the hostels more often and ask if they are open. The owner seemed a bit cold, but that was what the Google comments said. There was both positive and negative feedback about the meal. Since I was hungry and didn't have anything else in town, I decided to eat there. She said I should come around 7 p.m. I was the only guest in the hostel, so I had the entire room to myself. It was noted online that it gets very cold in the rooms and yes, it was very cold, but there were warm blankets. I think you can't have such a high standard on the Camino de Santiago, especially when you pay €12 for accommodation. In any case, I took a shower and laid down for a bit. Another plus point was that there was real bed linen, but there wasn't good light, but I have my headlamp. Then I went down to dinner and the fireplace was on. Perfect setting for eating. Umichb was really happy. Of course there was a larger selection on the menu, but I got a delicious soup and chicken with vegetables and potatoes and pineapple rings for dessert. I found it a bit difficult to get used to as a dessert and well interpreted, but I didn't complain. So that I could warm up later, I ordered a coffee and then sat in the cozy and warm living room. In between, a few locals came in and ordered something to drink. I then went to my room.
The entire journey I've been thinking about a lot of things from the past and of course self-reflection is important, but I want to focus on the future. But the thoughts are really difficult to get rid of. Of course nature helps, but tell yourself, don't think about anything. This works for 5 minutes, but then the demons come back home.
So I lay down and fell asleep feeling full.
