"Curtain up and stage free" - that was the motto of today.
After two lessons at the LGGS, the students had the opportunity to prepare for this afternoon and practice a small performance. In addition to tongue twisters, song lyrics, and the Gruffalo, they even had the opportunity to perform an excerpt from Shakespeare's MACBETH. "All of them did an amazing job!" - that was the feedback from our exchange students 👏🏻
In the afternoon, we were given a tour of Lancaster's oldest theater - THE GRAND THEATRE - which was built in the 18th century. We were able to take a seat, soak up the atmosphere, and even perform something "on the boards that mean the world". We were even granted access to the "holy halls" so that we could get an idea of how the great actors prepare in the dressing room for the magnificent shows.
In conclusion of today's day, there is nothing more to say except: "What an amazing show - standing ovations for you all!"
