The memorial owl

Today there's actually nothing exciting to tell :D I just 'found' a new owl.

Funny story about it. Here in my village, there's a new au pair that I met today. We went for a walk together with the dog, and since she's only been here for 2 weeks and doesn't know her way around yet, I showed her our village shop. We also bought delicious paninis there.
At the checkout to pay, I saw keychains with owls and said, 'Oh, I don't know those yet.' That's how I started talking to Sady (she works at the shop), and we thought together about where there are still owls, because I'm still missing 3, or now 2.
Well, the memorial owl is right across from the little cathedral at a bench. I've been living here for 5!! months now and I drive this road almost every day, and I haven't even noticed that there's a bench there :D
That's how much attention I pay to my surroundings^^
At least I found it now. The owl is sitting in a poppy, which is the symbol here in England to commemorate fallen soldiers. <-- Small contribution to the history of England XD
