2 weeks quarantine (13th-27th September)

Published: 12.11.2020

A few impressions or explanations of the above pictures:

Above you can see a 'paseador del perro', he is allowed to walk 8 dogs at the same time, but usually they have more, up to 15....

There is only water in plastic bottles, the sparkling water tastes like chlorine and is pressed out of a hard plastic bottle with pressure...great toy for Lea, who then sprays the whole room :) But we will still have a filtration system installed so that we can drink tap water...

Shopping via video with the neighbor :) As long as we are in quarantine (2 weeks), we can't go out...

Ice cream is delivered here by motorcycle, just like everything else from coffee to diapers....you order something in the store and a courier brings it to your doorstep, very practical, especially in quarantine...as a welcome greeting from Uruguay, our landlord ordered us a kilo of ice cream and pizza....and apparently it is very popular here to have ice cream delivered,...it tasted excellent by the way:)

Dulce de Leche, our new Nutella substitute...but there is also Nutella :)

You can also get German bread delivered, literally everything is delivered :)

Since you can order and have almost everything delivered here, and the Argentinians also have a buttered bread or afternoon coffee delivered, I ordered from the supermarket yesterday, especially since we can't go out yet, and lo and behold, someone soon came and brought the things...however, I had ordered milk, which then came in a size resembling Sunkist ;) hmmm not quite what I wanted, but the kids had fun and the yogurt, see above, looked like a face cream, but it is actually edible :) You never stop learning...

The first Argentine meat for an unbelievable price:) equivalent to about 4.50 euros per kilo :)

And now we also have the water filter, yippieh!

Our quarantine ends on Sunday and today we also have bad weather here for the first time, it's stormy, rainy and thunderstorms, at least it didn't rain in our house, which apparently is not uncommon in the houses here...

We now also have a water filter and can safely drink tap water without chlorine and we also have a carbonator...you should not necessarily drink the water without it. It may not have as much chlorine as in Egypt, as a colleague mentioned, where you would get green hair, but it simply tastes disgusting, like swimming pool water...
