Unfortunately, it was too busy yesterday to write a post, so here is a summary of the current events. In Denmark, just before the ferry, the fan belt of our Bulli broke, and on a Sunday afternoon, it is very difficult to get spare parts. With the help of the breakdown service, we made a makeshift repair so that we can reach the ferry.
The ferry ride went smoothly. We didn't like the accommodation for Camaro, so we sat together with him in the hallway.
Arriving in Norway, we only drove off the port area and spent the night on the side of the road.
This morning, we visited all the workshops in Larvik, but in Norway, they are no longer prepared for such old cars. We got the same answer everywhere: the car is too old, there are no spare parts available.
Not even the scrapyard had such old parts anymore.
Before the scrapyard owner, we got the tip to drive to a classic car dealer nearby.
Unfortunately, the engine quit before reaching the dealer.
Since our reliable engine is unfortunately no longer functioning, we have to interrupt the journey and take it back to the home workshop for repairs.
Now our furry snout is sleeping in the Bulli so that he is not so stressed, and we two are enjoying the evening sun on deck and admiring the Norwegian coast.
