It was probably not the dumbest idea to get vaccinated against rabies, considering that I naively approach any four-legged creature to pet them.

Both in Argentina and in Chile there is a large number of stray dogs.

I will no longer expose myself to any danger and in the future, refrain from petting the roaming dogs. The risk is simply too high that I feel a strong desire to adopt this dog.

The soft fur, the heart-melting eyes, and the friendly nature make it really difficult to leave behind a newly found friend.

The image that comes to mind when one thinks of stray dogs does not apply at all to the friendly wagging sometimes chubby four-legged creatures.

So it is actually a joy to come across stray dogs.
