We had a pretty cheap evening in Cienfuegos, there was a pizza for about 30 cents and a sandwich for about 40 cents. We also finally got Cuban money. So I'm playing Cuban and we get certain things for Cuban prices. At least that's the plan.
As mentioned, we're going to Trinidad tomorrow. We start at 8 o'clock in the morning. Since we have to walk about 25 minutes, we decline breakfast at our house here and we'll eat something on the street. Our hostess is not enthused about it, but as mentioned, we have to watch our money and the cost of living here is similar to Germany. So it's definitely better to visit various restaurants on the roadside.
BTW, I was already shat on by a bird for the second time, the last time in Chiang Mai.
Now we're sitting on the bus to Trinidad, pumping Celo & Abdi, admiring the landscape, and I'm still trying to figure out how to get to Mexico.
Ok. Mexico is booked.
Now we're in Trinidad, here's a little story about how fucked up people are. We approached someone with the address we have and asked where we should go. The guy mistakenly got excited and claimed that it was his wife and that we had to go to another house because unfortunately all the beds were occupied, obviously all lies. So we continue towards our address and first drop off our things. We make plans for the next few days and book a flight to Cancun.
Tonight we're going to the center, there's always music and mojito outside. After that, we're going to the 'Ayala' disco, which is supposedly in a cave. I'm excited.
Trinidad is really beautiful, relatively relaxed, and there's an acceptable number of tourists
