We got up later in the morning and started with making some pancakes. Which were quite special since the were vegan, glutenfree and lactosefree.
The turned out 'okay'.
Then Suus held a short presentation over sustainable bulding, since she is studying architecture. It was quite interesting.
We had lunch before heading to the Whale museum. Apparently the biggest whale musuem in europe.
It was two rooms.
But the rooms were filled with life sized whale figures and there also was a really interesting audio guide that exactly mentioned each whale while you were walking through the museum.
We also watched a documentary about whales and the sound in the sea. Which was frightening to see the impact that sonar, ships and other sounds were having on the ocean and whales.
Many whales stranded only because a large ship was passing by and the sound scared them all the way unto the land.
On the way back we went trash hunting, everybody got a different bag and material. I got glass and metal... So my bag turned dangerous and heavy very fast.
It was then that we found a little abandoned shopping cart that made my life a lot easier.
We brought all the trash to the recycling facility and started heading back.
At home everybody started cooking a dish fitting to their home country for the final evening. I joined Suus in making a bosvruchten crumble as dessert.
It was a nice evening, we shared our favorite pictures and moments of the camp. We had a great time together and I would really enjoy staying longer with this group.
It will be difficult getting to know a whole new group again.
Suus will be staying for a few more days so she will join me and Felix on Friday when we go whale watching.
