We had our first photography workshop at 11:00 about the rules of photography. Which some of them I thought seemed a bit weird, like that the subject should never be in the center but towards the left or right side of the picture.
We all got one rule of photography and went outside to take a matching picture. I had 'frames' so I tried my best to find natural frames. My favorite was on a playground were a mother was playing with her kids.
I managed to take a picture but not without the kid noticing and pointing at me. Which was followed by a very weird stare by the mother.
I went over to say I was just taking pictures for a photography camp which seemed very unbelievable with my little phone camera.
We compared our pictures and guessed who had which rule, some were quite easy and some a bit harder.
The others had negative space, leading lines, rules of 3 and leading movement.
After lunch we had an environmental work shop. Talking about what is an influence on the climate and special diets that have less impact on it.
We also wrote down vegetarian/vegan recipes in the SEEDS cook book. I wrote down Zucchini burgers with fries which I might try to make during the time that I'm here.
Then we had free time until dinner which we used to play some games. Afterwards the other went to a karaoke night while I checked out the board game stores in town.
At one store they had a quiz night going on and at the other there was a magic the gathering event which I am not familiar with.
I still managed to try out some games that I might even buy when I'm back home.
After the boardgame store closed at 22:00, I still went to join the karaoke bar/hostel though that wasn't really my kind of atmosphere.
It had one guy that was singing surprisingly good though.
The karoake night ended at 23:00 so we made our way back home. Everything closes quite early here even though it's still so bright outside.
