The past few days at the hostel, I have taken it easy because I can feel myself getting a cold. I've only explored the city center a little bit.
Today, the road trip finally started. There are four of us girls and we rented a campervan. Lin and I are from Germany, Juls is from Holland, and Lisa is from Austria.
In the morning, we walked to the campervan rental place and sorted out all the important things about the van. When we wanted to pack our luggage into the van, the lady kept bringing new things that we had to pack into the van... blankets, bedding, a table, and four camping chairs... There was soooo much stuff! And we had to somehow stack everything inside 🙈
Then we started... And I was the driver 😅. We went to Aldi to buy groceries. That was the time when I could test out my driving skills. After the shopping, the car was even more full 😜
Then we drove to Bunbury for our lunch stop. We went a little off the city to the beach and prepared our wraps.
After that, we continued to Busselton. We walked on the longest jetty that extends into the sea there. At the end of it is an underwater observatory... but we didn't go in because it was quite expensive.
From there, we drove to our first campsite. It's not free, but quite affordable. And it's actually in a very beautiful location... There's direct beach access. Maybe we can watch the supermoon from there later....?
