Day 38 - Vicky and the strong (wo)man

The day is here. We start the final part of our journey in Australia. Skillfully, we take the train back to the airport, then get in a taxi that drops us off at the same campervan rental as a month ago.

Tadaaa, we pick up Yoshi2. We enjoyed the campervan experience so much that we booked another camper in Adelaide. To our delight, we receive a double upgrade when picking it up. Instead of a Mighty Vans with many kilometers and an older model vehicle, we get a new Maui with only 36,000 km. The interior is much more modern. The pickup process is quickly done as we have experience from last time. We hit the road and actually head to the same Woolworths as a month ago. Here, we stock up on water and food. Then it's off through Sydney and northwards (ultimate destination Brisbane). During the drive, we once again look for a suitable name for our vehicle. We decide on Vicky!

We cruise through the outskirts of Sydney and try to avoid the main axis via the Harbour Bridge. Thanks to our navigator Sarah, we succeed wonderfully. We reach the Camping Patonga around 3 PM, which we have marked in the app. They have a great spot ready for us. We skillfully park Vicky and settle in. We spend the time until dinner at the nearby beach and in the significantly warmer water :)
