Explore Island - What to consider?

Whether on foot, by bus or by car - there are always a few things to consider. Especially during peak season, when the island is already very crowded, there can be traffic jams and disruptions. It is clearly advantageous to keep an eye on the gas tank. You will frequently come across gas stations and they work just like in Germany.
In addition, filled water bottles are just as recommended as a proper snack. Of course, there are supermarkets and snack bars everywhere. But let's be honest, what could be better than lying on the beach or hiking with a cool drink in one hand and a delicious sandwich in the other. This makes every situation more enjoyable.

If you explore the island by car, as described above, you may encounter long traffic jams during rush hour. I always recommend visiting scenic tourist hotspots either very early or in the evening hours. Otherwise, the excursion can quickly become frustrating.
