One day in Bendigo

Published: 16.09.2018

On Saturday the 8th of September, a few exchange students and I went with the train early in the morning to Bendigo.

That means two German, one Swiss, four Brazilian, one Spanish, and three French exchange students were off to paint the town red.

A few of us met at Southern Cross station in Melbourne. After we found our train, we had a two-hour journey to manage, but we did a quite good job because after two hours we arrived safely in Bendigo.

The whole day was one big party. We told everyone about our home countries and our experiences that we've had so far. We walked through the city, went to a viewing tower for tourists, and explored graffiti tunnels.

It was great to speak to all these exchange students and also nice that we had the chance to get to know them better. In a few months, we will all go on a big Australian safari together. Everyone is so excited about this trip.

Bendigo is a beautiful little city. It has a really countryside feel, completely different from Melbourne city.

After all, we arrived tired but with new friends in Melbourne again.

It was a beautiful day, and I'm looking forward to seeing all of them again.
