Today we walked the Bobs Cove Track, a short path along a lake to a viewpoint. These lakes here are really huge and beautifully blue.
Afterwards we drove further towards Glenorchy, had a lunch break and then walked the Lake Walkway.
But things aren't always so smooth with a child, E didn't want to get in the stroller or walk and didn't really want to be carried, but we managed it. But she slept quickly in the evening and we were still able to play rummy. When we ran, we always had the big brown mountains in the foreground and around us, including some with white peaks.
Afterwards we went back to Queenstown and I walked into town again and bought a Merino jacket (yay sale bargain), went to the Cookie Bar (mmhh delicious) and picked up bread from the Fergbäckerei. On vacation here we really noticed how good Merino clothes are, they get sweaty after a hike, you hang them up and you can just wear them again and it doesn't smell.
After dinner there was another bath in a small tub for E and then a cozy evening.
