You can admire plenty of ruins in Athens and walk your feet sore.
The Acropolis is just one of many ruins scattered throughout the city.
So on Saturday we only visited the Aroa ruins and decided to explore the remaining sights the next day. We spent the rest of the day strolling around, visiting the Parliament, and getting our bearings.
Then on Sunday, like typical tourists, we headed to the Acropolis at 9 o'clock.
Fortunately, we had already obtained the combo ticket for โฌ30 per person the day before, so we were able to bypass the ticket queue and go straight through the entrance. But even at this time, it was already crowded. ๐๐
After visiting the Acropolis, we treated ourselves to a typical Greek frappe. ๐ฅค
Then we went to the xxxyyy ruins on the outskirts and continued to the Olympic Stadium ๐ impressive!!!
After a mandatory visit to the Hardrock Cafe ๐ค and a rain shower of about 1 hour, we went back to the ruins below the Acropolis and the museum there ๐ค because a little education is necessary too ๐
At the small rock in front of the Acropolis entrance on the left, we enjoyed the evening with a cool Alpha beer ๐ป.
ByeBye Athens
