Strände- einer schöner als der andere.../ Beaches- one more beautiful as the next one...

Published: 04.11.2017

The weather in Sydney was generally good- except for today, where it's pouring rain and it's supposed to continue tomorrow and the day after. But the malls are open 7 days a week and the museum and cinema are always a good alternative. Originally, I wanted to go to the Blue Mountains this weekend, but I'll wait until Tuesday.

The good thing about Sydney is that you can reach many places by ferry- a beautiful way to travel and very relaxing!

I visited Watson Bay, Manly Beach, Rose Bay, Double Bay, and of course Bondi Beach- I even went to Bondi twice because it's only 20 minutes away from me. The people here are super sporty, running around all day in sports clothes. Employers promote this a lot- every company has free fitness studios and everyone goes to exercise during lunch breaks. Consequently, the view at the beach is usually pleasant for the eyes...;-)

On Wednesday, I'm going to Melbourne, which I'm really looking forward to. I'll be staying with friends there, which will surely make the experience even better. If it works out, I might even go to the Melbourne Cup- the event of the season... fingers crossed!
