From Oberammergau to Garmisch-Partenkirchen

August 22nd, my last regular hiking day... after that, only 😂 to Zugspitze... and then 6 weeks are already over. During this time, I have traveled quite a bit in Germany, on foot and by bike.

Today, I am hiking almost the entire time along the water. First along the Ammer, then along the Loisach, and finally along the Partnach. At times, the water is wild and turbulent. The surrounding landscape is picturesque, with many wildflowers and green, green, green. The mountains are hiding behind clouds. Only occasionally, there is a brief view of the peaks.

I pass by Kloster Ettal and then through the narrow Ettal.

Eventually, I reach Garmisch and know that here my hike ends - for now 😀.

The realization of the day: There should always be a goal at the end of a path!
