Day 7 from Stia to Camaldoli

Today's stage was actually planned a little differently, but our experiences from yesterday and the weather forecast for today led us to use the alternative of public transport. So we walked from our castle down to the train station to take the train to Bibbiene. Since we had a two-and-a-half hour layover before continuing our journey, I took the opportunity to visit the picturesque town center on the mountain. The trip to Willich was worthwhile, especially since the rain had stopped in the meantime.

Afterwards there is an adventurous bus ride up to the remote Camaldoli Monastery.

Here we met the other travelers we had met two days ago in Consuma.
